Rally X- Adam and Tony introduced 2 new veterans to the Rally X motorsport with Tarheel Sports Car Club in Wilson NC.  RFH Drivers took 1st place overall and 3 of the top 4 overall positions in the 2-day event. The event honed the driving skills and prepared the Vets for their first stage rally where drivers compete on 30+ miles of technical on and off-road stages.

 Remembering Everyday Heroes

Kendrick Castillo was a Senior student at the Stem School in Highlands, Co.  Just days away from graduation, he was shot protecting other students when another student open fired on his classmates. He saved many lives with his heroic actions that day.  This NHRA tribute is a touching story remembering him and how his family lived and loved motorsports together.  A perfect example of what this community means to each other and why we continue to support those who served to do what they love, with the people they love.

Health and Wellness Updates

If you've been following, you'll know that both our President Mike and VP Kurt have undergone Stem Cell treatments.  Mikes was a bit different than Kurts, as he was able to undergo a less invasive treatment and we are happy to say that its working!  He has less pain and more movement in the areas treated, than before and he is still in the early regeneration phase.
Kurt on the other hand, was literally dying from the uncurable disease "Scleraderma" which was does not have a treatment protocol at the VA.  He was able to get "experimental" treatment which included chemotherapy and then a complete transfusion of his stem cells.
Kurt has literally been "born again" through his new stem cells.  After just a few months of his body regenerating, we know the treatment is working miracles.  His voice has returned, his hands and joints are limbering and he is back in the gym!
He is well on his way to recovery.  Thank you all for your continued support towards our friends and to the Health and Wellness Center.  We have made wonderful new resource partners that we will continue to work with in order to help our brothers and sisters live a more abundant and pain free life!

Supporter, Colin Garret #18 in the news...

The first five races of the K&N Pro Series East season haven’t been easy for Colin Garrett.
Three top 10 finishes in five races for a second year driver doesn’t look bad on paper, but Garrett holds himself to a higher standard. He’s had race-winning speed in a couple events, but failed to capitalize. In others, they were just off, translating to frustration.
“It’s been a year of ups and downs,” Garrett toldNASCAR.com. “We started off pretty good at New Smyrna, led 64 laps. Then we went to Bristol, had a chance at a top five there, I kind of messed us up. Then we went to South Boston, finished sixth and it kind of went downhill from there. We showed some speed at Memphis qualifying second. But on Lap 3, we kind of dropped way to the rear. We don’t exactly know what happened, we’re going to try and test to figure it out.”
